Desert Ridge Condo Kitchen

This kitchen renovation began with a simple goal: to make the space feel brighter, more open, and easier to live in every day. By replacing the dated granite with elegant quartz and refreshing every interior finish, the kitchen was given a clean, modern foundation that instantly elevated the home.

Visual clutter was carefully edited away. The removal of pendant lighting, the alignment of cabinet heights, and the transformation of the two-tier peninsula into a single, continuous surface created clearer sightlines and a more inviting flow.

Executed with care and intention, this high-rise condominium renovation reflects not just an updated kitchen, but a space reimagined to feel lighter, calmer, and more connected to the way the homeowners live—modern, functional, and unmistakably theirs.

Before

This kitchen began as a darker, more segmented space within the condo. While functional, the two-tier peninsula, heavy granite countertops, and dated finishes made the room feel smaller and more closed off than it actually was. The raised bar top interrupted sightlines to the living area, and the pendant lighting added visual clutter overhead. Overall, the kitchen lacked the brightness and cohesion the homeowners wanted.

Plans & Renderings

Managing construction on the 4th floor of a high-rise condominium posed a distinct challenge. All materials had to fit within a standard passenger elevator, requiring careful planning and precise measurements. The floorplan was thoughtfully refined to improve flow and visual continuity.

The design explored a fresh material palette, to bring balance and contrast into the space. By simplifying lighting and eliminating unnecessary visual breaks, the design focused on clean sightlines and a brighter overall feel.
