Biltmore Square Main Living Areas
Bob-O-Link Master Bathroom
Beneath the serene beauty of this bathroom, a careful transformation was underway. Termite and mold damage meant the shower had to be completely reframed, while the homeowner’s wish for a steam system was brought to life beneath a larger, custom-designed bench.
Now, the space is a tranquil retreat where simplicity meets thoughtful design. Warm wood tones and brushed nickel accents complement soft white quartz surfaces, LED-lit mirrors, and a frameless glass shower, creating a bright, spa-like atmosphere. The seamless quartz tub deck flows effortlessly into the shower, blurring the line between form and function and turning everyday routines into moments of calm.

Before
At first glance, the original bathroom appeared clean and functional, but once remodeling began, deeper issues surfaced. Termite damage and mold were discovered within the shower walls, requiring a full reframing of the structure before any aesthetic improvements could begin. What seemed like a cosmetic update quickly became a structural rebuild.
Beyond addressing the hidden damage, the goal was to create something intentional and restorative. The homeowner specifically wanted to incorporate a steam system within an enlarged, fully updated shower, and upgrade all bathroom finishes and plumbing including the tub, which would include an enlarged deck for ease of bathing.
Plans & Renderings
The redesign began with rebuilding the shower structure properly and safely, creating a solid foundation for the transformation. With the framing corrected, the layout was refined to support a custom steam system, a larger integrated bench designed specifically for comfort and relaxation, and a frameless glass enclosure including a pivoting transom for ventilation.
Functionality would also be improved with the enlarged quartz deck around the tub. Upgraded fixtures, including a handheld spray wand, would enhance convenience, while the quartz countertops simplify cleaning. The integrated makeup mirror and lighted medicine cabinets would reduce clutter and add storage, transforming the space into a comfortable, efficient retreat.
