Anthem Coventry Bathrooms
These bathroom remodels reflect the client’s love of folk-inspired design while delivering everyday comfort and function. A classic black-and-white palette is elevated with patterned tile, adding character and a handcrafted feel.
The master bathroom boasts a glass-enclosed walk-in shower which preserves the existing glass block window for natural light and privacy, while a freestanding matte black tub creates a bold focal point. Natural wood floating shelves, a custom furniture-style vanity, and a built-in linen closet add warmth and practical storage.
Working within existing drain locations due to the home’s post-tension slab required careful planning. The result is a pair of timeless, personal bathrooms that blend thoughtful design with functional comfort.

Before
The original bathrooms were spacious but felt visually heavy and disconnected. A large corner tub dominated the master layout, while a separate shower with framed glass and frosted panels broke up the room and limited the sense of openness. Finishes were neutral but flat. Gray walls, basic cabinetry, and standard tile that didn’t reflect the homeowners’ personality.
Overall, the spaces felt serviceable but uninspired. The goal was to keep what worked structurally, while transforming the atmosphere into something more expressive, layered, and personal.
Plans & Renderings
Instead of fighting the existing drain locations, the new plan leaned into them. This builder-grade small bathroom would be transformed into a charming, new primary bath through thoughtful design details and clever use of space.
The design introduced a timeless, folk-inspired charm with a classic black-and-white palette enhanced by intricate patterns and niches. The tub would serve as a stunning focal point, while smartly designed shelving and niches provide ample storage and character. Finishes and fixtures were selected carefully to elevate the space, which combined elegance and practicality to create a warm and inviting retreat.
